In the following charts, you can analyze in parallel the spot prices and the fixing of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. For all precious metals, the spot price is expressed in US dollars per ounce and in euros per gram. The fixing shows the daily quotation of gold, platinum, and palladium, which is set twice a day; for silver, both the current day’s fixing and the previous day’s fixing are reported. For all four precious metals, the fixing is expressed in the main international currencies: US dollar, euro, and pound sterling.
The spot price – offered daily by Italpreziosi – allows you to know the price at which gold, silver and other precious metals such as platinum and palladium can be bought and sold within a specific time frame. The data provided is updated in real time and is completely reliable, thanks to the authority and transparency that has always distinguished Italpreziosi’s presence in the precious metals market.
Created as a direct response to the need for transparent and simplified reporting, the LBMA Trade Data service is owned by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), distributed by Nasdaq and available through Bloomberg and Refinitiv Eikon. LBMA collects anonymous and aggregated commercial information from its members – including Italpreziosi, which contributes to the formation of the gold price with the ITLP Code – and provides a daily snapshot of the share in the OTC Loco London and Loco Zurich market for precious metals, including gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
