The Salmon Gold™ project: environmental regeneration and responsible sourcing

The Salmon Gold™ project, first launched in 2018 by the non-profit organization RESOLVE and developed through Regeneration Enterprises, promotes a model of responsible gold sourcing directly linked to environmental restoration, ensuring full traceability of each batch back to its origin. The initiative focuses on reactivating historical mine sites in Alaska and the Yukon, where past mining operations had compromised natural habitats - particularly those of migratory fish species such as salmon. Through innovative re-mining practices, Salmon Gold™ not only recovers gold from mine tailings but also contributes to the restoration of forests, waterways, and wetlands.

Italpreziosi's role in the refining of the Salmon Gold™ collection’s gold

Italpreziosi is responsible for refining the gold used in the collection, ensuring the highest quality standards and complete traceability throughout the production chain. Mejuri’s Salmon Gold™ Capsule Collection, available online at Mejuri.com and in select stores starting October 13, 2025, includes three ring styles and one hoop earring design.

The concrete impact on the territory is reflected in the data: in 2023–2024, regeneration activities led to the restoration of 1,650 linear meters of salmon streams and 33.5 acres of upland habitat, contributing to the return of biodiversity.
